Group rules
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Inward groups are for studying alongside each other. These rules cover everything you write or show in a group: messages, your name, your profile photo and the group's name. You accept them by creating or joining a group, or by agreeing to them before you write a message.
What isn't allowed
- Insulting, humiliating, harassing or bullying others
- Threats, or encouraging violence or harm to yourself or others
- Sexual content, and anything that endangers or exploits children or teenagers
- Hate against people or groups because of ethnicity, language, religion, gender or disability
- Sharing someone's private information without their permission, or pretending to be someone else
- Spam, advertising, scams and harmful links
- Selling or promoting drugs or weapons, and anything else illegal
Reporting and blocking
Hold a message to report it or block its sender. You can do the same for any member from the people list on the group's page. The person you report or block isn't told.
If someone is in immediate danger, please call emergency services or the police. Inward can't replace them.
What happens after a report
We read reports. If the rules were broken, then depending on the case we delete the message, remove the person from the group or close their account. Each group's creator can also delete messages and remove people. What a report stores is described on the privacy page.
